What is PENSION - AUTO ENROLMENT?

The law on workplace pensions has changed.

All employers are legally required to automatically enrol certain staff into a pension scheme and make contributions.

You have to tell your staff about the scheme and allow other staff to join if they request to do so.

If your  become an employer for the first time on or after 1 October 2017, you  will immediately have legal duties for your staff. These  apply from the first day they start you. This is known as their duties start date.

The process of auto enrolment is a complex and time consuming process if done manually.
